I now have 11 guests.

I tried mason bees about two years ago. Without a lot of success. i think the first year I had 3 guests. Imagine my surprise this year when, not one, not two, but three of my little bee hotels filled up with ‘guests’. I am not sure if they just needed to get a good start ove rthe past two years – all I do know is they are here now! Last count – 100.
If anyone would like to share the experience of bees with children but do not want to worry about stinging, etc – Mason bee houses are great fun. The kids can even help build the little houses.
Fantastic. I was wondering … do you see leaf cutter bees in the same hotels?
